Interfaith Encounter Association
- The Interfaith Encounter Association is dedicated to
promoting peace in the Middle East through interfaith dialogue and
cross-cultural study. We believe that, rather than being a cause of the
problem, religion can and should be a source of the solution for conflicts
that exist in the region and beyond.
ALLMEP (The Alliance for Middle East Peace) -
This is a non-profit organization dedicated to lobbying
congress to allocate more funds for coexistence and reconciliation work in
Israel/Palestine. In July 2005, as a result of our work, congress passed a
bill allocating 12 million dollars for such activity. ALLMEP is a
professional, competent organization based in Washington DC The Interfaith
Encounter Association and the University of the Middle East are
participating members. Our office is actively involved with ALLMEP in DC. If

Sulha -
The Middle Eastern Sulha is a traditional gathering for those of differing
cultures and religions to come together to share music, food, festivities
and thoughts of the heart. The Sulha Movement in Jerusalem carries the
vision of conducting regular Sulhas to facilitate coexistence among the
Jewish and Muslim people in Israel/Palestine.
University of the Middle East -
The University of the Middle East Project promotes
academic excellence, tolerance, dialogue, regional cooperation, and peace
through its academic programs. Beginning the summer of 1999, UME has
gathered students and professionals from 14 Middle Eastern countries to live
and study together.
Light Millennuim -
Light Millennuim created a magazine, which is open to all
people with similar ideas and dreams. - A vision of actively creating a
better world for us to share. It is a discussion platform that encourages
the greater creativity and intelligence that it brings, as we make our way
into a new era.
Brit Tzedek v'Shalom -
Brit Tzedek v'Shalom, the Jewish Alliance for Justice and
Peace, is a national organization of American Jews deeply committed to
Israel's well-being through the achievement of a negotiated settlement to
the long-standing Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
